Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.

The neighbourhood

The cottage is located in the small, beautiful and historic Cotswolds village of Painswick where Cotswold stone buildings meet narrow roads and cobbled lanes. The town is famous for its 99 Yew trees that grow in St Mary's churchyard and the legend goes that if a 100th tree is planted the devil will prevent it from growing.

There is a grocery shop and dog-friendly pubs within a 5-minute walk of the cottage, while a market is held every Thursday morning at the Painswick Centre. If you want to treat yourself to Afternoon Tea or a special dinner, head to The Painswick’s fine dining restaurant.
