The cottage beautifully blends its 1850s heritage with contemporary style, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step inside. At its heart lies a generous open-plan kitchen and dining space, perfectly designed for entertaining. Whether you’re preparing a leisurely brunch or a celebratory dinner, this space makes cooking and gathering effortless.

The dining area sits within a light-filled orangery extension, with a striking long table that comfortably seats up to 14 guests. This space is perfect for long, sociable meals that stretch into the evening, surrounded by garden views and natural light by day, or soft, ambient lighting by night.
The flow of the house encourages relaxation. From the dining area, you can step into the cosy living room where a large smart TV and surround sound system create the ideal spot for movie nights or unwinding together after a day of exploring. A separate snug offers a more relaxing retreat, with a Hottib stove at its heart - the perfect place to curl up with a book.

There are four beautifully styled bedrooms, each designed with comfort in mind and equipped with Smart TVs. Three rooms offer king-size beds dressed in luxury linens, while the fourth has twin beds ideal for children or friends sharing. The house includes two shower rooms with modern fittings, fluffy robes and fresh towels, ensuring guests have plenty of space and comfort. A downstairs WC adds further convenience. For larger groups, a double sofa bed can be set up on request, making the cottage wonderfully flexible for extended families or mixed groups of friends

The garden has been thoughtfully designed to elevate the guest experience. Two luxurious hot tubs sit beneath adjustable pergolas with LED lighting and weatherproof blinds, making them ideal for year-round use. The morning can begin with a Grind coffee enjoyed outdoors, while evenings are best spent gathered around the built-in fire pit beneath the stars. There is ample space for outdoor games, lawn activities and relaxed moments in the landscaped grounds, which offer complete privacy for your group and plenty of room for parking.

While the ground floor is not fully step-free, a ramp can be provided to assist with access over the door thresholds.

Hot tub: As the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after each booking, we cannot guarantee that your hot tub will be at its optimal operating temperature upon arrival.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
