The property is nestled at the foot of the Sidlaw Hills with plenty of stunning walks nearby, including the Kings Seat, Dunsinnan Hill, Kinnoull Hill and Ballo Woods. Each walk begins from the doorstep or nearby and promises beautiful views, while nature lovers should keep their eyes peeled for local wildlife including red squirrels, hares, red grouse, buzzards and deer.
For a bite to eat, there are many places in the surrounding area, including Three Witches, Meikleour Arms and The Ardler Tavern. For a fine dining experience, Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles or The Glenturret is well worth a visit.
Perth and Dundee are both just 20 minutes away and offer an array of shops, restaurants and museums to explore, while day trips to St Andrews, Stirling and the Highlands are perfect if you are in search of an adventure.
For a family-friendly day out, Camperdown Park and Wildlife Centre, Active Kids Adventure Park and St Andrews Aquarium are all within easy reach for great days out. Glamis Castle or Scone Palace is also a wonderful place to visit for a guided tour, before venturing outside to explore acres of beautifully manicured gardens.
Should you wish to venture further, the capital city of Edinburgh is under 1.5 hours away. Here you can enjoy numerous attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the National Museum of Scotland and the Royal Yacht Britannia. For a spot of retail therapy, head to Princes Street or grab a bite to eat from one of the many restaurants on George Street.
