Exceptional Service

Our award-winning Guest Services team will not only help you find your dream holiday but will support you through every step of your stay.

Big Sky Hideaway has been lovingly hand-crafted with 100% recycled materials from the owners’ farm. It features reclaimed wood throughout, nature-inspired artwork and vibrant pops of colour to complement the rustic interiors.

The shepherd’s hut begins with an outdoor living space with idyllic views across the crop field and ample seating space so you can fully immerse yourself in nature. Lounge in the wood-fired hot tub, relax under the canopy with a coffee in-hand and enjoy the soothing sound of birdsong until the sky fills with stars.

As you step inside the shepherd’s hut through the patio doors, you are greeted by an open-plan space with a quaint kitchen complete with an induction hob, a fridge, a kettle and a selection of utensils and crockery. The lounge provides an inviting sofa, a second set of double doors with exceptional views, a cosy wood-burning stove and WiFi. You will also have the added benefit of Welsh wool insulation to keep you extra toasty.

Beside the kitchen is a stylish WC with a rain head shower, eco-friendly toiletries and fluffy towels.

The bedroom is divided by a partial wall beside the living room, but carefully designed to feel cosy and relaxing. There is a rustic double bed dressed in soft linen sheets and colourful cushions, with the added bonus of a floor-to-ceiling window so you can enjoy panoramic views from the minute you wake up to the minute you go to sleep.

The shepherd’s hut is accessed via a crop field and the owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.

The eco-friendly hot tub uses spring water sourced on-site; the water is then recycled back to the land. In addition, rainwater is used for the farm animals to drink. There is no single-use plastic, only refillable and eco-cleaning products are used. The farm also commits to the conservation of wildlife habitats.

Please note, the first basket of wood will be free and additional refills will be £10 per basket.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

The neighbourhood

The area is peaceful and there are lots of wildflowers and wildlife on the farm from bees and butterflies to owls and deer. The dark skies also make it a perfect place for stargazing.

There are plenty of walking routes, one being a public footpath that runs through the farm, with many more starting from the farm gate. You can also head to the famous Offa’s Dyke Path on the England/Wales border. If you prefer, bikes can be hired locally and there are many areas to discover on two wheels.
