Exceptional Service

Our award-winning Guest Services team will not only help you find your dream holiday but will support you through every step of your stay.

Upon entering the house, you will be greeted by a grand entrance hall that paves the way to an abundance of comfortable and sociable living spaces.

The drawing room is a wonderful place to gather in front of the cosy open fire, while French doors open out onto the deck so you can admire the mesmerising views over Kerrera to Mull. For a less formal affair, the TV room is the perfect place to snuggle up, relax and watch your favourite movie after a day of exploring.

Meanwhile, the kitchen and dining room is the focal point of the house for socialising and entertaining. The kitchen is divided into two areas, one for the designated chefs to cook delicious feasts, and another for preparing breakfast, coffee and pre-dinner cocktails. Across both, you will have access to a Range cooker, three full-size fridges and a full-size freezer, two dishwashers, three microwaves, a hot water tap, Nespresso coffee machines and Dualit toasters. When you’re ready to wine and dine, there is a bespoke dining table, a TV and views overlooking Oban Bay. The utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying racks.

The ground floor also has the first of four bedrooms. This bright and cosy room is complete with a zip-and-link super-king-size bed and a dedicated shower room across the hall.

On the first floor, there are three more zip-and-link super-king-size bedrooms that have all been decorated in their own unique style. Two bedrooms have an en-suite shower room, while the third bedroom has access to the adjoining bathroom with a shower and a free-standing bath.

The games hall is also located on the first floor with armchairs, a pool table, a Smart TV and a selection of classic board games and toys. It’s the perfect place for younger guests to relax and enjoy their own space.

Outside, you will have access to a stunning wraparound garden, lined with vibrant borders of rhododendrons which add a magnificent display of colour in spring. Every angle of the house provides a different view, whether that’s towards the Isle of Kerrera, Ben Cruachan or across to Dunollie Castle on the mainland, so there is ample seating scattered around the outdoor space so you can admire your favourite view in comfort. When the sun sets and the sky fills with stars, head over to the firepit to warm up and toast marshmallows together.

If you wish to shelter from the cold, work remotely or enjoy a spot of yoga, the cosy bothy is the ideal space to do just that.

There is a lock box which you can access on arrival.

Location

The neighbourhood

The house is located in picturesque Oban, a pretty town on the South West Coast of Scotland. Often referred to as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’, it’s a great holiday destination for anyone looking for a new adventure.

If you wish to try something a little bit different during your stay, there is a sea safari boat trip available from Easdale which offers the opportunity to see whales, porpoises and seabirds in their natural habitat and visit the Corryvreken whirlpool (tides permitting). There are various sea tours operating from Oban ranging from a one-hour trip around the bay to a day trip to Mull to visit Tobermory or the Island of Iona. Specialist snorkelling, diving and wild swimming trips are also available.
