    Set amongst three acres of land, Withington Grange is a three-storey house complete with a vast living space, stunning antique decor and a garden made for socialising and entertaining. The private heated swimming pool and tennis court provide hours of fun, whilst the indoor space offers a cosy sanctuary to escape to after a day of adventure. Should you wish to explore the area, there are plenty of countryside walks to discover with your four-legged friends.

  • The space

    The private driveway leads to the delightful abode with picture-perfect landscaping and honey stone walls. Complete with vast outdoor space, classic interiors and ancient beams, this property is oozing with wow factor.

    The cosy living room is the perfect place for the whole family to get together for a movie night on the Smart TV, a board game marathon or a good old catch-up. The room is light and airy with a comfortable three-seater sofa, two armchairs and a wood-burning stove.

    Next door is the country-style kitchen/breakfast area, fully equipped with everything you need including a four-oven Aga, an electric oven, a gas hob, a fridge/freezer and a coffee machine. Gather around the seven-seater round table as you discuss the day ahead, sipping on a freshly ground coffee to start the morning right.

    The formal dining room is complete with a large wooden table and 12 chairs, perfect for evening meals, sipping on the finest of wines and toasting to the good times. Once replenished, retire to the charming drawing room, filled with ancient beams, a warming wood-burning stove and two inviting sofas. There is also a cosy study to slip away to for a quiet read, comprising a desk and a library of books.

    The ground floor is complete with a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as two small WCs.

    There are three bedrooms on the first floor, all featuring antique interiors, ancient beams and soft linen sheets. The master bedroom comprises a king-size bed and an en-suite with a bath. Bedroom two is directly next door with twin beds, perfect for a family with children. Bedroom three also has twin beds and is next to a family bathroom with a separate shower.

    The second floor comprises three additional bedrooms. Two with a double bed and a shared shower room and one with zip and link twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower.

    The private and enclosed outdoor space is the focal point of this stunning property. Along with ample outdoor seating and three acres of perfectly preened greenery, the garden is full of activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is a heated swimming pool (open between April and September), an all-weather tennis court, a croquet set, a zip wire and a sizeable play area for the little ones to explore. Not forgetting the external games room with a pool table, a TV and plenty of toys and games. As the children frolic through the grounds until sundown, fire up the BBQ for a delicious feast with a refreshing G&T in hand.

    The swimming pool is fenced and gated with clear signage regarding depth.

    The swimming pool is heated between April and September.

    There are horses and dogs on site and a large pond in the garden, please be aware of this when booking with children and individuals with allergies.

    A travel cot is available with linen provided.

    Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

    Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 prior to their stay.

    Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The neighbourhood

The house is located in the rural countryside of the Cotswolds, surrounded by beautiful scenery and plenty of hiking routes, including direct access to Cotswolds Way.

Just a short drive away, the closest dog-friendly pub is The Frogmill, serving hearty meals and local tipples. For a fine-dining experience, Le Champignon is under 15 minutes away and is well worth a visit.

For the avid golfers, tee off with a view at the Lilley Brook Golf Centre, set amongst the magnificent Cotswold hills. If you are feeling more adventurous, make a splash at the Cotswolds Water Park and give water-skiing, wakeboarding or windsurfing a go with the children.

Meanwhile, the large spa town of Cheltenham is about 10 minutes away and has a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. The Cotswolds Farm Park is not too far and is a great hit with children, whilst family-friendly attractions in the wider Cotswolds area include Sudeley Castle, Pittville Park and Hidcote Manor Garden.

An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Malvern Hills is under 50 minutes away and a wonderful day out for walkers of all ages to enjoy. Choose a route that suits you, admire outstanding views and surround yourself with nothing but the peaceful, English countryside.

Getting around

The closest train station is Cheltenham Spa Railway, however, due to the location, we recommend that our guests drive to the property. The house provides parking for 10 cars.
