Our award-winning Guest Services team will not only help you find your dream holiday but will support you through every step of your stay.

Step through the entrance hall and into the open-plan kitchen and living area. The modern kitchen has everything for two to self-cater including an oven, fridge, freezer box, toaster and microwave, plus there’s a washing machine and ironing facilities.

If you don’t feel like cooking, arrangements can be made for a local catering company to deliver to you, so that pretty much all you have to do is warm the food up. Or, you can book a personal chef to whip up a meal for a special occasion, or even to cook for you every day if you wish.

When you’re ready to eat, there’s a dining table for two and afterwards, you can relax together on the sofa in front of the TV. French doors lead from the living area to the cosy bedroom.

In the bedroom, there’s a comfortable bed with a deep king-size mattress and soft cotton sheets, hanging space for your clothes and a dressing table. There’s also a modern wet room with underfloor heating, a heated towel rail, a walk-in shower, WC and a solid oak sink unit with a granite top and basin.

The owners live on the site and are available to answer any questions you may have. However, there is a lockbox with a key to allow for a self-check-in. There are other holiday properties on the site and there is ample parking.

If you'd like to offset the carbon emissions from your trip get in touch and we can arrange this for a small fee.

Dog Rules - Dogs are permitted by prior arrangement with an additional fee of £30 per dog

The bedroom can accommodate a travel cot or small camp bed that are available on request at an extra cost of £25.

Massage and beauty treatments can be pre-arranged for you to enjoy in the comfort of the cottage.

Location

The neighbourhood

The location is semi-rural and once you’re settled in, there isn’t any need for a car if all you’re after is a relaxing stay with fine Peak District country walks from the door. The local village of Foolow is about a 5-10-minute stroll away and is very pretty and peaceful with limestone houses, a duck pond and a pub that serves good local ales and food.

The nearest shops are approximately 3 miles away in Eyam. If you want more choice of places to eat and drink, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs in neighbouring villages and towns. Bakewell is just a 10-minute drive away and here foodies should check out the fine dining options at Fischer Baslow Hall, while history buffs should head to Chatsworth House. The spa town of Buxton is also a short drive, of about 20 minutes, and is a lovely place to explore.

If you’re looking for more action, activities including abseiling, rock-climbing, guided walks and cycling can be pre-arranged by the property owners. Please ask our Guest Services team for details.

Getting around

A car is advised for travelling to this property. There is a local bus service that operates from the pub in the village which is a 5-10-minute walk away.
