  • About the property

Views of Freshwater East Beach from this home are sure to give you that mouth wide open reaction. Designed by a local architect who was featured on Grand Designs (for the conversion of the Tenby Lifeboat Station), every aspect of the house maximises the vistas which always offer something different to see, depending on the season. Outside, there are terraces and pretty coastal gardens, where sweet smelling roses and calming lavender bloom in summer, plus a heated swimming pool (closed from the end of October until the end of March) where you can enjoy a morning dip or cool off on a sunny day. You’ll be forgiven for not wanting to venture out, but the unspoilt beach is just a short walk away and is the perfect place for a stroll or a swim.

  • The space

Understated luxury with simple styling ensures that the view is always the focal point. This home from home is filled with natural light and is a very peaceful place to be.

Step inside the sliding front door and you are immediately greeted by stunning views of the sea, glass panels in place of stair balustrades and floor-to-ceiling windows ensure there is nothing to interrupt it. Strategically placed armchairs entice you to gaze and daydream. Sliding glass doors open onto the huge terrace with glass surround where the views are even better. Here, you will also find one of the outdoor dining areas and sun loungers for some relaxed sunbathing or just taking in the view.

The open-plan living area includes the kitchen and the lounge that will comfortably seat all of you for a movie night in front of the large Smart TV.

The modern, white gloss kitchen has a large dining table and chairs, an electric Aga, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher and is well equipped to help you self-cater with ease.

Just off the kitchen is a utility room with an additional fridge which can be used for drinks or extra food, a freezer and a washing machine, plus a dog bed.

The largest bedroom is also on the ground floor, with a king-size, electronically controlled bed with tempur mattress, large en-suite with a bath, accessible walk-in shower, a sink and a WC. This bedroom has yet more stunning sea views, with sliding doors onto another section of the raised terrace.

There is also a ground floor WC.

The house is fitted with a lift to the lower ground floor where you’ll find three more bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower rooms and super-king-size beds, one of which is zip and link so can be set up as two singles on request. The third bedroom has a king-size bed and use of the family shower room. Each bedroom has plentiful wardrobe space and mesmerising views and they all benefit from direct access to the garden.

There is also a cosy snug area with family board games, an Xbox and seating areas for reading, to keep you entertained.

Outside, the large, landscaped gardens offer compete privacy and are secure for dogs. You can easily while away the hours here, stoke up the BBQ and savour lunch together at the dining table. Or head to the gated pool area to refresh in the heated outdoor swimming pool. (The pool is closed from the end of October until the end of March). There is also a pool house with table tennis, a kitchenette and a shower room with a WC so you can easily camp out here all day.

If you’re bringing wetsuits, surfboards or bikes with you, there is ample space in the garage to store them securely. There is parking for up to six cars in the driveway.

A charming tree lined footpath runs directly down to the dunes and beach from the front of the property.
