The Laundry House is a beautifully designed holiday home near Dumfries and Galloway with plenty of space to socialise and entertain. Enjoy spending quality time together in the open-plan living space, relaxing in the luxurious hot tub and preparing delicious pizzas in the Ooni pizza oven. The estate offers many family-friendly facilities and activities including a castle tour and a fantastic adventure playground, or you can embark on many outdoor pursuits, including fishing, walking, cycling and hiking within the beautiful estate grounds.

Upon entering the cottage, you will be greeted by a spacious and sociable living space, comprising a kitchen and lounge with a six-seater dining table. The kitchen is modern with high-quality appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and electric oven, hob and three bar stools.

When you’re ready to unwind after a day of exploring, there are two sofas to sink into with the relaxing ambience of the wood-burning stove and your favourite programme on the Smart TV.

There are three beautiful bedrooms, each with its own unique style and luxurious soft furnishings. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with zip and link beds to form a king if required. Both rooms have access to the downstairs bathroom with a bath and a shower. Upstairs, there is a large king-size bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room.

Outside, you will have access to a stunning private garden with woodland views through which you can glimpse Drumlanrig Castle in the winter months. You will also benefit from an Ooni pizza oven (multi-fuelled) and a luxurious hot tub.

The owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Check-out: by 10:00

Hot tub: As the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after each booking, we cannot guarantee that your hot tub will be at its optimal operating temperature upon arrival.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.
