This three-storey home is crafted with eco-conscious and sustainable materials, including local flint and Siberian larch, while the floor-to-ceiling windows and floating balconies maximise the stunning views and encourage an abundance of natural light.

As you step inside the bright and spacious entrance hall, you will be greeted by a seamless spiral staircase and a plethora of handcrafted décor which truly sets the scene for what the rest of the house has in store.

Connected by a glass link, the heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen which appears to hover over the natural swimming pond and brings the outside in. You will have access to top-of-the-range appliances and all you should need to self-cater with ease, plus a cosy log burner and a sumptuous L-shaped sofa, perfectly positioned to admire the tranquil garden views. The kitchen island provides a great place for informal dining, whilst the main dining area comfortably seats six in the grand entrance hall.

Meanwhile, the ground floor comprises two comfortable sitting rooms. The bright and inviting lounge is complete with a built-in wood-burning stove, a Smart TV and a plush velvet L-shaped sofa, while the cosy snug replicates this with a deep blue colour scheme and sumptuous interiors.

Upstairs, there are five luxurious bedrooms, and in keeping with the theme of the house, each room is designed with calming colour tones and natural materials. There is a master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite with a shower and a bath, a double bedroom with an en-suite shower and a bath, a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a triple bunk bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A further set of stairs lead to another bedroom with a double bed, a double pull-out bed and a small en-suite toilet.

Outside, you will be mesmerised by the enchanting garden where wildlife thrives and wildflowers bloom. Enjoy daily swims in the natural swimming pond alongside newts, dragonflies and frogs that call it their home, follow the winding sculpture trail to the outdoor dining space, relax in the sauna, while away the hours at the tennis court or climb into the wood-fired hot tub for an evening under the stars. The possibilities are endless at The Vand.

The House Manager will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.

The house is highly energy efficient with the inclusion of renewables such as a GSHP (Ground Source Heat Pump), PV (Photovoltaics) and Thermally High Performing Materials.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £1,000 to the house manager prior to their stay.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The neighbourhood

The house is located in the pretty coastal village of Bosham, just outside the cathedral city of Chichester. With plenty of nature walks from the doorstep, you will never be short of an adventure, while an abundance of cafes, restaurants and pubs are also within easy reach, including The Crate Café, The Anchor Bleu Pub and Giggling Squid. Goodwood Farm shop is also close by should you wish to purchase fresh, local produce.

For family-friendly days out, Bosham Harbour is just a 10-minute walk away from the house. Here, you can enjoy scenic strolls along the bay or follow the path further to Bosham village with its abundant cafes, pubs and shops. Meanwhile, West Wittering Beach, one of the UK’s most striking beaches, is around 20 minutes away by car and well worth a visit. Enjoy golden sands or try something new and book a session at the surf school.
