Kirkby Hideaway is a contemporary two-bedroom cottage in the centre of a thriving market town and features a stylish mezzanine living space that maximises the views over the Barden Fell. This impressive property has been architecturally designed and is adorned with opulent interiors and striking décor to create a unique and memorable stay for friends and family. The town centre location means there is a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus walks from the doorstep, while the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are both within easy reach for great days out.

As you step inside the property, you will be greeted by a stylish entrance hall with vaulted ceilings, skylights and a split staircase leading to the mezzanine level. A striking chandelier made from wine glasses takes pride of place and sets the scene for the rest of the abode.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor with king-size beds, Smart TVs and ample storage space. The master bedroom has a modern en-suite with a rainfall shower and a built-in TV. Meanwhile, the second bedroom has access to the Jack and Jill bathroom which features a shower over the bath and a further built-in TV.

The first floor is split into two wings which are divided by a lower lounge with two comfortable chairs so you can admire the striking views over the Barden Fell. To the left, there is a bright and cosy living room with an L-shaped sofa, a Smart TV and plenty of board games to keep the whole group entertained. To the right, there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a four-seater dining table, combination oven/microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, wine fridge and coffee machine.

Outside, there is a bistro set at the front of the property so you can relax in the sunshine with a glass of wine in hand and absorb the atmosphere of the pretty market town.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The cottage is located in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale, a pretty market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There is an abundance of restaurants, pubs, boutique shops and cafes to enjoy, while a delightful market is held every Thursday in the town centre.

If you wish to explore the area on foot, there are plenty of scenic walking routes from the doorstep, including the renowned Devil’s Bridge and the river. Meanwhile, The Yorkshire Dales National Park makes a wonderful day out for walkers of all ages. Choose a route that suits you, admire outstanding views and surround yourself with nothing but the peaceful countryside.
