Dahlia Cottage combines two, self-contained properties into one for up to 8 guests. Hollyhock and Lotus Cottages are apartment-style cottages housed within the estate’s original stable block. Both properties offer home from home comfort, chic décor and five-star luxury living. Meanwhile, the grounds of the estate invite you to walk in the gardens, admire the sea views in the distance or visit the resident alpacas. Great days out include delightful beaches, the Wales Coastal Path and the charming town of Cowbridge.

Hollyhock Cottage

1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom / 2 Guests

First-floor suite housed in the original stable block. Features an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area, and lounge plus a separate bedroom area with a king-size, sleigh bed. An en-suite with a rolltop bath and walk-in shower is on a mezzanine level.

Lotus Cottage

3 Bedrooms / 3 Bathrooms / 6 Guests

First floor, apartment-style cottage housed in the original stable block. Features two king-size bedrooms (one with an en-suite shower room and one with an en-suite bathroom) and a twin room with an en-suite shower room. There are mezzanine levels accessed via loft stairs.

Outdoor space

The estate’s 9 acres of gardens and grounds are perfect for a quiet stroll, a picnic or admiring the sunset over the sea in the distance. You will also have access to a separate shared laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board situated in the outer courtyard.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

The estate grounds and gardens are communal areas that are available to guests of the manor house and all the apartments and cottages at the site.

If you'd like to offset the carbon emissions from your trip, get in touch and we can arrange this for a small fee.

Guests have free access to the EV charger.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £300 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The neighbourhood

The property is part of a country estate with a Georgian Grade II* listed Manor House and 9 acres of grounds. You are welcome to take a walk around, explore and ‘meet’ the resident alpacas, sheep, chickens and ducks.

Situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, the property is close to fantastic country and coastal walks including the short walk to the pebbly beach of Limpert Bay. From here there are spectacular views across the Bristol Channel to Exmoor and Minehead.
