We’re looking for a Property Portfolio Manager who is ambitious and looking to develop their career in a small but fast-growing team. As Property Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for driving property acquisitions within a given focused region of the UK and developing your own established area of Portfolio Owners where relationships will be at the heart. Once you have recruited your Owner, you will pride yourself in being in true partnership by developing a lasting relationship.

What are we looking for?

  • A local expert within the holiday letting sector, with knowledge of the holidays market and competition
  • Strong negotiating skills with an ability to understand key commercial terms
  • Someone who likes people and can demonstrate building relationships for the long term
  • A self-starter with experience in remote working who is results driven, but likes being part of a national team
  • Someone who likes being themselves, we are looking for people with personality and genuine interest to see our business grow
  • A full clean driving licence and access to your own car

Good to have

  • Experience of using CRM systems (including but not limited to HubSpot and Microsoft Teams) to manage the sales process and pipeline opportunities
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • A sound understanding of relevant industry legislation and regulatory requirements, for both letting and Owner compliance obligations

Key responsibilities

  • Build, manage and maintain a network and pipeline of properties
  • To recruit and onboard quality properties and estates into your regional portfolio
  • Develop the local property portfolio and sign-up Holiday owners
  • Drive property acquisitions through outreach, participation in online communities, local events and carefully selected and identified annual shows
  • Respond to inbound enquiries and following up with leads from the website and various sources
  • Build relationships with Portfolio Owners
  • Working with the commercial team to price and accurately forecast income levels
  • Act as an ambassador and champion for Luxury Cottages during all visits and whilst attending events
  • Focusing on key performance indicators to ensure Owner objectives for portfolio management is maintained and property sign ups and revenue targets are achieved
