Local Info

The neighbourhood

The property is located at the edge of the thriving coastal village of Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey. It’s just a 1-minute walk to the beach, while elegant wine bars, surf cafes and restaurants are also in easy walking distance, as are local shops where you can pick up groceries and essentials.

Rhosneigr has two wide, sandy beaches, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, and is a great place for outdoor activities. Enjoy walks beside the sea and through the sand dunes, or head to Maelog Lake, just to the east of Rhosneigr, for nature walks and access to the Anglesey Coastal Path.

A range of water sports are available right on the beach and Rhosneigr is a particularly popular spot for kitesurfing and surfing. In addition, there is a local tennis court and the tennis rackets at the property are there for guests to use.

Please note that RAF Valley, predominantly a training base, is located in the next village and jets can pass during working hours.

Getting around

A car is not necessary but does make getting around much easier. The nearest local train station is at Rhosneigr, about a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive away, and the train comes from either Holyhead or Bangor.
