A great choice for a family, this cottage is perfectly placed to enjoy the market towns of Shropshire, long country walks with the dog and strolls around the stunning grounds in which it is located.
Pheasant Cottage is one of five completely renovated cottages that are set within the private estate of a Grade II* early Georgian country house. Enjoying a rural setting within a sleepy hamlet in Shropshire and 64 beautiful acres of country estate grounds including a seven acre lake to explore, it’s a great place to chill out. However, with superb gardens and heritage sites within easy driving distance, you’ll soon be tempted to venture a little further to discover more of Shropshire’s charms.
There are three bedrooms at the cottage. The first features a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed while the third has a single bed. There is one bathroom, which features a luxurious roll-top bath and a separate shower.
The living area is perfect for spending evenings in front of the Smart TV and if you want to feel extra warm on a chilly night, there’s a log burner that’s sure to take the cosiness level up a notch.
The kitchen has everything you could need to prepare everything from a light breakfast to a three-course meal, including an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and dryer.
Outdoors there is an enclosed garden with a table and chairs that seat up to six people where you can spend time relaxing, dining on grilled delights cooked up on your gas BBQ.
Guests will be met on arrival and there is an allocated parking area. Once settled in, you can enjoy walks in the estate’s grounds and around the lake.
