Owl Cottage is one of five completely renovated cottages that are set within the private grounds of a Grade II* early Georgian country house estate. Enjoying a rural setting within a quiet hamlet in Shropshire, this is an excellent place to get away from the pressures of everyday life. With beautiful views and 64 acres of country estate grounds, including a seven acre lake to explore, this is the perfect location to recharge your batteries. Back at the cottage, there’s a delightful enclosed garden, complete with a BBQ where you can spend days, warm or cool, in the fresh air.
There are three bedrooms at the cottage. The first features a king-size bed, while the other two bedrooms each have a single bed. There is one bathroom, which features a separate shower and a luxurious roll-top bath - perfect for an indulgent soak after a long day out walking in the countryside.
The living area is perfect for spending evenings in front of the Smart TV and if you want to turn the cosiness up a notch there’s a log burner to get things toasty.
The kitchen has everything you could need to cook up everything from a light breakfast to a family dinner, including an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a Nespresso coffee machine, a microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and dryer. Meanwhile, the dining table has chairs and a bench to seat four.
Outdoors there is an enclosed garden where you can spend time relaxing or dining on grilled delights cooked up on your gas BBQ.
Guests will be met on arrival and there is an allocated parking area. Once settled in, you can enjoy walks in the estate’s grounds and around the lake.

Check-out: by 10:00 (or a late check-out on Sunday for guests arriving on a Friday)
Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
