    Surrounded by extraordinary beaches and vast countryside, Minack View has been carefully designed with neutral colours and complementary shades of blue to enrich the seaside location. The many skylights encourage an abundance of natural light, while the floor-to-ceiling windows enhance the stunning views from every angle. Enjoy spending quality time together in the sociable living space, head outside to the infinity garden to admire the seascape or take a short walk to the beach for a stroll or a swim.

  • The space

    As you enter the property into the double-height entrance hall, you are greeted by herringbone oak floor tiles and space to store your shoes after a day at the beach or a stroll through the countryside. There is also a small WC and separate utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

    The ground floor consists of four spacious bedrooms, each with two twin beds that can be converted into super-king beds if required, carpeted underfloor heating and stunning views of the ocean or the countryside. In between the bedrooms, there are two shared bathrooms, one with a WC and a shower over the bath, and one with a WC and a walk-in shower.

    The open-plan living area is a prime spot for socialising and entertaining with its contemporary and spacious layout. The room features timber beams, floor-to-ceiling patio doors overlooking the open ocean and a large lantern skylight. Divided by two slate steps to maximise the views, the upper living area has a cosy wood-burning stove and three inviting sofas, whilst the lower living area features an L-shaped sofa and is perfect for movie nights on the Smart TV.

    The upper level also features a white shaker-style kitchen with a midnight blue island, breakfast bar seating and Carrera marble worksurfaces. It is well equipped with everything you should need to self-cater with ease, including a large American-style fridge/freezer, a wine cooler, a Quooker hot water/boiling tap, a single oven, a combination oven/microwave and two integrated dishwashers. Once your home-cooked feast is ready to enjoy, head to the lower level and gather around the 12-seater dining table and admire the panoramic views.

    Upstairs features two large bedrooms, both complete with a luxurious en-suite, ample storage space and underfloor heating. The master bedroom has a super-king bed positioned in front of apex windows and a Juliet balcony, so you can truly admire the ocean views from the minute you wake up. The second bedroom has a king-size bed with a Juliet balcony and stunning views of the far-reaching countryside.

    There is an additional family bathroom on the second floor with a double-vanity unit, a free-standing double-ended bath and underfloor heating.

    Off the landing, there is a handy playroom featuring a large daybed, a TV and plenty of space for the children to get creative and have fun. Next door is a study with a desk and a table, perfect for remote working if required.

    Outside you will have access to a large patio and an infinity lawn with the ocean as your backdrop. There is also a heated outdoor shower and tap to rinse wetsuits and sandy toes. The space is perfect for a game of rounders or an alfresco feast around the outdoor dining table.

    There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

  • Sustainability

    The house is carbon-neutral and runs on solar and all the heating is provided by a solar powered air source heat pump.

    Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

    Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

    Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The neighbourhood

The property is located in the stunning Penzance countryside with an abundance of picturesque walks close by. You can walk to the South West Coast Path in less than 5 minutes and explore Land’s End and beyond if you have the time.

Porth Chapel and Porthcurno beaches are both only a 10-minute walk away and are great for family days out or sunset strolls with your four-legged friend. Meanwhile, Pedn Vounder beach is 25 minutes away and provides stunning views of Logan Rock and at very low tide you can walk along the sand to Porthcurno. Sennen Cove (one of the country’s premier surf destinations) is also only a 10 minute drive away. Please note, dogs are welcome on Porthcurno beach except between 1 July and 31 August (10am - 6pm).

For your everyday essentials, the closest shop is in St Buryan, while the nearest pub is the Logan Rock Inn and only 1 mile away. Here you can enjoy a selection of real ales and hearty, home-cooked food.

If you fancy venturing further afield, hop on the train to St. Ives from Penzance Train Station and enjoy the spectacular views, delicious eateries and boutique shops. Feeling adventurous? Get the whole group together and head to Sennen Surf Centre or Ocean High Watersports in Mounts Bay where you can learn to stand up paddleboard, kayak, kitesurf and so much more.

Getting around

A car is recommended for travelling to the property and ease of getting around and there are three parking spaces at the property. The nearest train station is Penzance which is 25 minutes away.
