The first thing you should do in the Chiltern Hills is explore all that the countryside has to offer. Why not drop into the Chiltern Valley Winery & Brewery and pick up a bottle of something to go with it? It’s a fantastic place for a tour and tasting session too. If you’re feeling more active, walk or cycle on some of the designated trails. There are plenty to choose from, including the Ridgeway National Trail that runs past the famous Uffington White Horse landmark that’s etched into the hillside. Do also book a boat trip with Hobbs of Henley and cruise the Thames. Then, if you like discovering stately homes, visit the National Trust’s Greys Court or Stonor Park, the latter hosts a programme of summertime concerts too.
