Luxury Cottages is an award-winning domestic travel company and will soon be launching a crowdfunding campaign so that customers, suppliers and the general public can join the business on its journey to revolutionise the UK holiday letting sector.

We are seeking investment to scale the business next year following a period of consolidation in 2023. Luxury Cottages reached a milestone of more than 300 properties this year and has refined its portfolio continually striving for excellence across the board. We wanted to provide all our stakeholders with the opportunity to join in our journey.

The funding will support further growth next year with investment in marketing and new hires in key locations. We’re opening up the business to investment to take us through to our breakeven point in 2025 and our aim for this raise is for it to be our last before achieving profitability.

Luxury Cottages has grown from the kitchen table during lockdown to represent an enviable portfolio of properties across the United Kingdom. The crowdfunding raise, launching on Seedrs, will support the company’s growth ambitions and provide the business with a platform to expand its product offering in 2024.

The team are highly selective about the properties they work with and each one is- inspected, from the interior design to the amenities throughout. Along with this, Luxury Cottages consistently evaluates the quality of the portfolio, increasing standards and educating owners about best practices in the industry.

In September 2023, Luxury Cottages officially became a certified B Corp, joining a growing group of over 1,500 companies in the UK that pursue purpose as well as profit. We have accomplished a monumental milestone that represents a shift towards greater accountability and transparency in the sector, and this achievement was highlighted by our verified score of 85.0 which we intend to improve on through a continuous commitment to building a better business.
